Apprenticeships: The route to being CEO by 40

Discover employer's views on how young business talent should be nurtured into the leaders of the future.

The needs of employers have changed. They are now looking for young individuals with a natural aptitude for business and technology to excel in the digital age.

So, it’s no surprise that the majority of business leaders believe that nurturing digital talent at a young age will address the shortage of certain skills in the UK and improve the prospects of the next generation of business leaders.

In this white paper, you will find:

  • Why business leaders feel more needs to be done to nurture young business talent
  • How they think that a few tweaks to how we spot and nurture talent can propel more talented young people to the role of CEO before 40

Apprenticeships, revolutionised

Gone are the days of apprentices spending one day a week in college. Arch's apprenticeships are digitally-led, mobile-first learning experiences.

  • Learning accessible anywhere - the majority of training is done through online webinars using the latest Adobe software. Any classroom training that's required is done in block releases.
  • Hive Learning - our off-the-job learning tracker, is a collaborative learning app developed with Sir Clive Woodward – we are the only apprenticeship provider to use this.
  • Award-winning learning platforms - AVADO Learning, our sister business, provide the learning platforms for our marketing, HR and finance programmes. SEE THE AWARDS THEY'VE WON.

What are the levels?

With apprenticeships suitable for everyone from novices to experienced professionals, you'll have no trouble hiring or up-skilling at different career levels.

Arch provide apprenticeships in:

  • Level 3 - aimed at entry-level young people with no experience
  • Level 4 - for those with some experience, looking to specialise
  • Level 5/6/7 - mainly suited for up-skilling existing employees with at least 3 years of experience in their field

What's included?

An apprenticeship is a lot more than just training, it's a way to revolutionise learning in your organisation.

Each programme provides:

  • A widely-recognised qualification,  with professional qualifications at the heart of our programmes
  • A Learning & Development Coach, that has experience in the industry
  • Access to the Hive Learning app, that encourages reflective learning while easily recording off-the-job learning
  • Access to award-winning platforms, that makes 'learning stick'
